Everton F.C joins list of FIFA 12 exclusive partnerships

The buildup to the FIFA 12 release has seen a lot of exclusive deals established between EA and various football clubs. We previously brought you news of Man City’s collaboration with the developers, seeing them gain a lot of authenticity within the game itself. Then we brought you news of a deal EA has with Fulham F.C, which means various FIFA 12 related events will be taking place on match day as well as having rights to advertise the game at the grounds.

The latest team to join the list of FIFA 12 exclusive deals is Everton F.C. The partnership means that the premiership club will receive exclusive features such as an Everton F.C game sleeve for FIFA 12, which can be downloaded from their official website. Another feature that they will receive is a chance to play FIFA 12 at select match days, when the EA Sports FIFA trailer visits their home ground, Goodison Park.

Fans will get to play the game as their favorite player at certain matches which includes the fixture between themselves Manchester United on October 29th. The squad players and the manager, David Moyles, will be trying the game out too during a Pro Player Tournament at their training ground at Finch Farm. Like Fulham, the Toffees will also be advertising the developers and the game on the LED perimeter boards around their ground.

Dave Biggar, Commercial Director of Everton believes EA produce the worlds ‘very best sports gaming and entertainment products’ and says they ‘are absolutely delighted to be working with them this season on a more one-to-one basis.’ What are your thoughts on this exclusive deal and the other club deals EA has established so far?
