Eton’s Soulra XL solar-powered boombox for iPod, now up for pre-order

With the warm weather finally creeping in for 2011 it means more outdoor get togethers and BBQs will be taking place. With these gatherings a little entertainment is always appreciated and what better way to entertain than with your favorite tunes from your iPod.

This brings us to the news that we have for you today of a new iPod boombox Eton. This boombox is not just your average dock; it’s the solar-powered Soulra XL. It first made an appearance in CES at the beginning of the year.

It is a set of speakers consisting of eight different loud ones. The Soulra XL takes half the time to charge as its predecessor did as according to Eton it has a monocrystal which also allows it to last five hours after being charged.
