It seems like we have been waiting an age for Sprint to announce a release date for their Galaxy S smartphone, but we can now tell you that the Samsung Epic 4G will be with us on August 31, 2010 and will cost $249.99. Now you have the tough decision between that and the HTC EVO 4G, maybe a video showing you the differences between each handset will help?

The most important feature of this new screen is how it will save on battery life — which has been a huge issue for the EVO 4G.
