The free Elf Yourself app has been getting a battering by Android users over the past few weeks that seems to be due to issues on a number of devices. This ranges from Android tablets to smartphones, and part of the blame might lie with the amount of hardware the app is run on compared to just the Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
We touched on the Elf Yourself Android app problems around 2 weeks ago, but since then we have seen a couple of updates to the Android app featured on Google play.
The last Elf Yourself app update for Android has a date of December 19, 2013. It is not clear what was fixed a few days ago, but users haven’t been impressed after looking at the feedback since this update.
You can see a screenshot below that features a few comments since the last update, and a few of these comments are about problems using the Elf Yourself app on Android.
One user stated they kept choosing pictures and after selecting the app would go back to the intro page, or it would just make them start the process over again.
Others complain about the limited features or problems with sharing Elf Yourself dance videos on Facebook. One Facebook user explained, “After making my video, the link I shared on Facebook doesn’t work and almost no one can share from what I can see”.
It is clear that a lot of people are managing to share from the Elf Yourself app to Facebook, as seen by people complaining about too many Elf Yourself videos showing up in their news feed, but there’s certainly a lot of issues with some Android tablets and phones.
How do you rate the Elf Yourself app on Android? Has your experience been problem-free? We will let our readers know when the next update arrives on Google play, so if you have installed the latest version of 1.1.7 then share a comment with how well this app is working for you.
