Element ELEFW504A 50-inch LED HDTV review warning

We say it every year, but Element branded TVs end up being the most discounted TV brand that we see year after year at most retailers in the US.

This year will inevitably be no different and we can see that Element will already be partnering with certain retailers to offer large screen models at affordable prices.

One model that could be available with a discount this month is the Element ELEFW504A 50-inch 1080p LED HDTV, sold at the likes of Target, Walmart and even online marketplaces such as Ebay.

Element has offered several 50-inch TVs in recent years, however we can see that the
Element Electronics 50in Flat Panel Tv 1080p 60 Hz with model number ELEFW504A is the only 50-inch TV highlighted on the official Element website right now.

For those that see the Element ELEFW504A on sale this month though, we do have one potential word of warning. Upon looking at feedback for this month for past purchase history, we noticed a pattern with many consumers saying that their Element 50-inch TV screen went black or blank after usage and had to return to the retailer soon after.

One particular Element ELEFW504A 50-inch LED HDTV review stuck out, as a customer from Walmart complained that as many as three of these models bought all had to be returned as the screen went blank on one of them, while another suffered from a constant flickering screen.

Perhaps the worst part of this feedback is the customer citing a ‘lack of support’ from Element, which is why we wanted to give you this information as a heads-up as we know 50-inch Element LED TVs will once again be offered this month without fail.

At the same time, it is well worth pointing out that on the same Walmart review page, there is plenty of positive feedback for the same model, so it is up to you to decide.

As a consumer who has purchased an Element TV in the past, please leave your feedback below on your experience on this brand.

Would you recommend a 50-inch Element TV purchase or not, should prices be too tempting to turn down?
