If you have seen the latest gameplay reveals for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim during E3 2011, there’s a good chance that you would have been blown away by what you saw. A lot of you may disagree with us here, but with Skyrim, we could be looking at the game of 2011 already.
Bethesda has unveiled the biggest reveal for the upcoming RPG yet, and also confirmed that the game will feature a minimum of 300 hours of gameplay content. Executive Producer for the game Todd Howard has been showing off the game in various media presentations and private screenings, with the latest one coming via G4TV which we’ve added below again for you to check out.
If you played Oblivion, many of you thought that game would not be matched, but Skyrim running on it’s brand new physics engine looks to have put a swift end to Oblivion’s reign. The upcoming Skyrim will no doubt intoduce many Fallout players to the franchise as well, but the best thing about this upcoming game due out on November 11th, is that it’s starting to turn heads of those who have never even played an Elder Scrolls game.
We’re talking about those players who are usually just concerned about Call of Duty and Battlefield releases every year. We think you would find it extremely difficult to find a majority of gamers who do not have a good thing to say about the current state of Skyrim. We too have been reading all of your messages saying how amazing this game looks, we wonder how many of those played Oblivion and how many are just general gaming fans?
You may think that Modern Warfare 3, Uncharted 3 and Battlefield 3 are going to be the ones to look out for this year, but we say otherwise. We’re willing to bet that Skyrim ends up the most popular game of 2011 and future awards will prove it. Get your pre-orders in now folks, because it will be the best money you’ve spent on a video game this year.
