Elder Scrolls Online for PS4 news update silence

Since we saw that awesome trailer of The Elder Scrolls Online for the PS4 back in June, ZeniMax Online Studios has been a little quiet on the subject. We had been hoping for some more updates, but so far we have not heard a thing from them.

However, we have to expect this from time to time because the Elder Scrolls Online for PS4 and Xbox One release date is not until Q1 2014, although it would have been nice to see a another trailer or two by now. Going back to that date, there does seem to be a confliction, because some people will tell you that the time frame mentioned above, while others suggest Q2 of next year.

Whatever date it will be, we should be lucky to be getting The Elder Scrolls Online for the PS4 and the Xbox One in the first place, because it took some hard work on Sony’s part to convince Bethesda to make it happen and shows the appeal this upcoming game has.

From what we know so far the new game looks as though it is more PS4 oriented than the Xbox One, which is a complete reversal of Skyrim, which seemed more suited to the 360.

Having no Elder Scrolls Online for PS4 news update is a little annoying, but we hope this silence is a good thing because they could be ready to release another trailer soon. In the mean time, you can already pre-order your copy of Elder Scrolls Online for PS4 or Xbox One from various sources, such as Amazon UK or US.

Looking on the Amazon US site we noticed a Elder Scrolls Online release date of December 31, 2013. We cannot be sure of this, but we would say this is just a placeholder date and nothing more.
