Earth Day 2015 iOS apps to educate

Today, April 22 is Earth Day 2015 and what makes this annual event so special this year is the fact it is its 45th anniversary. There are a great deal of activities going on today, which we will give you information on below, as we want to just have a look at what Apple is doing for this year’s event first.

When you go onto the App Store on your iOS device you will see on the featured section at the top Earth Day 2015, and when you click on it you will be met with a selection of apps dedicated to this event.

These apps are nothing to do with details on activities, but rather ways in which to educate you to teach you to become more environmentally responsibility.

In this section you will see various categories, these are Apps, Kids Apps, Books, Films, TV Programs, Podcasts, iTunes U Courses, and finally, iTunes U Collections. We do like how Apple is trying to educate us rather than doing something that lasts just a day, as we know the changes we make have to be done each and every day.

As for the Earth Day 2015 activities, we have come across a rather informative article that offers 15 ideas so that you can make a difference and to celebrate Mother Nature.

What will you be doing today to help celebrate this event?
