EA Sports FIFA 12: News and rumors – last 7 days

Whenever a new game is due for release there is always a lot of hype, with some more than others. FPS games always do well, along with sports games. One of the most popular this year will be EA Sports FIFA 12, so we thought that you would like to offer you some of the latest news and rumors that have taken place over the past 7 days.

First of all let’s just go back a few more days just to wet your appetite. EA Sports have been talking about how they can bring together Peter Crouch and David Villa in the game to improve on how they perform, which you can see in the video that we have embedded for you below.

There is so much that we can look forward to in the 2011 version of the game, but Gamer Rant believes that the Impact Engine and the new Pro Player Intelligence will make the game better than ever before. The technology behind the games is now far more complex than ever, but at least you will not have to worry about that, just work on your ball control.

You may or may not be surprised to learn that CONCACAF will not feature in FIFA 12. There seems to be no chance that this will ever make an appearance in any FIFA game, which will upset the developers, as they have been begging for it. However, there will be all other Major League Soccer teams featured in the game, as reported by News10.

God is a Geek has spent some time with FIFA 12 at both E3 and down at EA Sports HQ in Guildford, England and got down and dirty with that new Impact Engine. Now it is so easy to buy into the hype about how great the game is, but these guys say that it is true and that you need to play the game to believe it.

In the past players would often drop in the strangest of circumstances, but now EA have worked at this and now believe that they have mastered it. Now if a player goes down, it will be in the same fashion, as they would do playing a real game of soccer/football.

The most recent bit of news that we reported back on July 1, 2011 was that the voice talents of Andy Gray would not be used as commentary. Now some may argue that he should have been kept on by EA, but do they really want the voice of someone who has had such negative press for his actions that saw him fired from Sky Sports?
