EA has just made a massive announcement, by unveiling EA Access to the world. It’s a subscription-based games service that is coming exclusively for now, to the Xbox One.
For a monthly price of $4.99 or an annual fee of $29.99, EA is going to be giving Xbox One owners unlimited access to a catalogue of EA games which they are calling the Vault.
Now, we can bring you an initial heads-up to those that are interested in this, but want to know exactly which games are going to be included in the EA Access The Vault list.
So far, EA has confirmed that FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4 will be the games that are available straight away, during an EA Access beta period which will begin soon.
EA has promised that more games will be added to that list soon, but it’s interesting that the likes of Titanfall has been left off for the time being.
We can also confirm the initial list of EA Access new games that will join the service when they are available, these include Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA LIVE 15, and Dragon Age: Inquisition with EA again promising that more are on the way.
It’s a very bold move to say the least, but a nice option if you love EA games. $4.99 for an unlimited supply of EA’s finest titles doesn’t sound like a bad deal. It all depends on which games they plan to add to The Vault as we’ve already seen that Titanfall won’t be included.
