E3 2013 list of games that should appear on stage

Are you starting to get excited about E3 2013 yet? We can now start counting down the weeks until the annual event kicks off at the Los Angeles Convention Center and this week we have an early glance at a partial list of games that we should be seeing at the event in June.

One game that is definitely going to be in attendance is The Evil Within, the brand new survival horror game on the way from Tango Gameworks and Bethesda – seemingly the game that has contributed to Bethesda ceasing development on Skyrim.

As for the list, you’ll be able to view it online here courtesy of IGN. They have stated that this is a list of games that are ‘likely’ to be shown at E3 2013, but not 100% confirmed. They’ve also made it easy to see which games are exclusive to PS3/Vita and also to the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS.

As you’ll see though, IGN’s list does not include any Xbox 360 exclusives at the moment which could be a talking point for some, although there’s plenty of multiplatform games that are scheduled on Xbox 360 to look forward to. Highlights that we can see include Battlefield 4, Assassin’s Creed 4, the new Zelda game on Wii U and the next Final Fantasy game that Square-Enix has confirmed for PS4.

Grand Theft Auto V has also been highlighted, but as we mentioned in a previous article – Rockstar tends to skip E3, so we may not see the game at the event, although obviously we hope this isn’t the case. We can also expect to see some brand new IPs as well, which is always the case at every E3 event each year.

What games stand out for you and which games have not been included on the list that you think will be shown? Zelda will provide a much needed boost for Wii U if it’s shown, while Square-Enix may be able to win back some fans if Final Fantasy next-gen impresses.
