E3 2011: Sony Press Conference, Rumored Details Leaked

We have a treat for Sony PS3 owners now, as it appears as if Sony’s entire lineup of announcements and reveals for E3 2011 have been leaked prior to the event, by a source inside Sony who apparently leaked correct information prior to E3 2010 as well.

The information has surfaced from a French Sony employee, and the details have been translated over at Hooked Gamers. Although this is obviously a rumor, the list of details are pretty vast and it contains some very juicy information with regards to the NGP, new game unveils and much more.

For example, E3 2011 will see the Sony NGP given an official name, along with a release date and price. The source also claims that we’ll see Peace Walker unveiled for the Sony NGP, along with 7 other first-party titles including a Wip3out game for the handheld.

As for the PS3, there are details about yet another Metal Gear game, and playable versions of Uncharted 3, Twisted Metal, The Last Guardian, Resistance 3 and the possible reveals of a PS3 game developed by Bungie. Add to that a Warhawk 2 game, Grand Theft Auto 5 and a brand new game by Gran Turismo 5 developers Polyphony Digital, which makes it a very strong lineup for the company indeed.

Again, we stress that this is rumored information at the moment, but how awesome would it be if it all turned out to be true? A sequel to Warhawk would be a particular highlight for us, while if true, a new Metal Gear and Bungie game are likely to be the show stealers.

What are your thoughts on this leaked information, and what excites you the most? More info through the link above.
