We have some interesting news now for those of you that haven’t quite given up on the long-awaited Duke Nukem Forever game yet, as we’ve just heard that the upcoming demo has now been dated. However, it isn’t all good news, as it looks like it’s only for pre-order customers.
According to an article by Terry Lucy at godisageek.com, the developer Gearbox Software has recently released a new announcement video, to let fans know that the demo will be arriving on June 3rd across all platforms — in other words, the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
There is a catch however as we mentioned above. Those who want to be a member of the First Access Club (as the developer is calling it) will have to have pre-ordered the Duke Nukem Forever game at selected retailers. Those who buy the Borderland GOTY Edition will also gain access.
Several retailers are offering customers entry into Gearbox’s First Access Club. UK gamers can pre-order highly anticipated game at GAME, Play, Amazon, Zavvi, TheHut and Gamestop (Ireland only). Meanwhile, US gamers can order it from GameStop and Amazon.
The actual game is due to arrive in UK stores on June 10th and North American stores on June 14th. You can view the announcement trailer via the godisageek.com website. Have you pre-order Duke Nukem Forever?
