Dualshock 4 PS3 compatible list has limited functionality

The moment Sony announced the Dualshock 4 controller for the PS4, we knew it will help to bring an even better gaming experience to Sony’s next-gen console, but learning that it was compatible with the PS3 was seen as an added bonus. Having already looked at how the PlayStation 4 offers this secret PS3 functionality, there was still a burning question, and that was “What PlayStation 3 games does Dualshock 4 support.

Because some stores have already begun to sell the Dualshock 4 now, PS3 gamers have already learned of what current-gen titles are compatible, which we are pleased to say includes several Call of Duty titles, these are MW2, MW3, Black Ops, Black Ops 2.

The complete Dualshock 4 PS3 compatible list was seen on Reddit, but we thought we would also supply it for you above. However, it is worth mentioning that all of these games do come with limited functionality.

We feel the need to inform you that you will not be able to use the Dualshock 4 PS Button, motion sensing, vibration and wireless while using it on the PS3. It would seem that it is not worth paying the extra price for the Dualshock 4, as losing those key features is a bit of a blow, although not a shock.
