Droid Bionic Accessories: Car dock and Multimedia dock revealed

Earlier on we brought you some new pictures of the Droid Bionic as well our concerns about branding featured on the device, but now we have the first details on the official accessories you’ll be able to buy for the device on launch.

It seems hard to believe, but Verizon are still yet to officially announce the device to the masses, instead preferring to keep the long awaited reveal until the last possible moment. That hasn’t stopped other details being leaked via other sources, as information regarding official accessories have been disclosed courtesy of online listings over at Amazon.

The online retailer has listed information for both an official multimedia dock as well as a car dock for the Droid Bionic. Unfortunately, there were no pricing details that came with the listing, but it’s definitely a clear sign that Verizon are definitely ready to push the Bionic out of the door soon.

How soon you ask? Well according to the latest whispers, we could be seeing the Bionic on around August 4th, although August 9th has also been mentioned as well. That means that in two weeks time the Droid Bionic may finally be available to buy, but $399 may be slightly higher than some of you had expected to pay.

If you are worried about pricing, our advice to you would be to hold off from buying for a few days, because it is almost certain that various discounts will be made available, even from places like Amazon. The price isn’t set in stone yet since the handset isn’t even official, but if it does turn out to be $399, do not panic and shop around for cheaper prices first.

Alternatively, you can hold out for another handset, as we have been keeping a close eye on both the Nexus 4G and the Motorola Dinara and we can tell you that both are shaping up to be fantastic handsets, with both rumored to be coming to Verizon with Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0, 4G LTE data support and a huge 13 megapixel camera and 4.5-inch HD display screen for those opting to wait for the Dinara.

It’s a tough decision for sure, one which we hope you think about carefully. Once we get prices for these accessories, as well as details on any other equipment for the Droid Bionic, we’ll be sure to let you know. In the meantime, tell us this – How many of you are still pumped up for the Droid Bionic release?
