Drakengard 3 content unlocks prequel story

Drakengard 3 has already released in Japan back in December, and this is an action RPG made exclusively for the PS3 although it is not expected to release around the world until May 2014. Regarded as a prequel to the original title, Drakengard 3 will be the third instalment in the franchise and publishers Square Enix recently revealed the game will be getting a prequel story as DLC.

According to a report on Siliconera the new downloadable content will give gamers the opportunity to play as the sisters of Zero, who are the people Zero is trying to bring down in the main story. The DLC unlocks the memories Of Zero’s sisters and this content is said to be a selection of enjoyable fun stories that go back unlocking memories through progression.

For Japanese gamers the DLC will commence on the 6th March with new content arriving each week for around 600 yen each. Gamers in other territories like North America and Europe will have to wait until the 20th and 21st May respectively, so will you be welcoming Drakengard 3 to your chosen platform this May?
