    I would welcome lagging only if Microsoft allow me to access the xbox live gold membership service iI paid for. Everytime I go to “play online” it sends me back to Microsoft store and says,”join xbox live gold”. Then in order to access the already active 6 months gold service i have that i can’t access due to some kind of outage they want me to spend yet more money! I can’t access my already paid for service without paying another $9.99 for ANOTHER month of service! This is not only ridiculous but a shame on Microsoft end to not only force thousands of people to pay for services they already in order to access the service they already got! I’ve been a loyal xbox customer for 6 years now and love being part of Microsoft. But things let these so called outages will cost Microsoft to lose customers and Playstation to gain them. It’s not right for us to be punished for something we didn’t cost. Free us from this outages and let us enjoy your products and services again!

    I have had the purchase and content usage problem for almost 2 days now. It just hasn’t gone away. This is affecting my internet and making me lag everywhere. I can play games and all but its just not fun when you just constantly lag.

    This is why I hate having a “profile” instead of the games just having save slots. I can’t play games that I OWN. Game developers need to discontinue this idiotic practice. I guess I’ll play a real game console, like my old NES…

    Can’t play any of .y games today. Put in all 4 discs and each one fails to load and asks if I own the game. Please fix.

      BS… XBL is far more reliable and better about lag than PS4’s crappy service. Neither one is perfect, But I regret buying a PS4 pro.

      You must be a stupid pony butt hurt about the new XB1X. Fan boy crap is for morons. I gave my kids my 2013 XB and snagged a XB1X Scorpio. I love it.

      I sold the overhyped PS4 Pro junk to pay for it too. Good riddance.

    Is anyone else getting the problem where you need to enter a code but there is no subject linked to the code ? Also its telling me to check my account which i cant because i think outlook is down too

    Xbox Live is currently down due to a huge Hotmail / Outage. Unfortunately, Microsoft uses the same system so it is a terrible knock-on effect. Anyone else can’t sign in?

    We can confirm that Xbox Live servers are down today, Sept 8, although the official status page is yet to update. Code 8015820A is being seen by a number of gamers, what do you see?

    Xbox live status page isnt reporting problems, well only with the IGN app being limited, but I’ve had issues for the last 10 minutes when tying to sign in with Xbox One.

    Xbox Live’s status page reports that Xbox Live Core Services are currently “Limited”. This looks to be only for Xbox 360 owners, and this might stop you signing into Xbox Live. The first reports of the issues came at 9:58:29 GMT.

    Trying to sign in to Xbox Live to play Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, but all I receive is an error message “communication with xbox live servers has been interrupted”. Then I just exit, no way to play zombies online with Xbox One today, August 8.

    Xbox 360, xbox live choppy connections and time outs. Australia. Finally ran a successful test and sat staring at a white screen for a few minutes before the 80072ee2 error code appeared. Timed out again. Been like this for about 5 hours.

      The reason you can’t sign in is due to Xbox Live Core Services being limited, the official status page has updated with a red alert.

    360 is connecting to live, but not loading right with certain apps like Hulu and Netflix, Hulu. I also cannot get the dashboard to load.

      Xbox 360 has a server alert right now, on May 21, it’s for joining others on Xbox Live in online games. Apparently, it’s limited today since 6:39am GMT.

      I know think it’s LS, they said their Lizards are currently planning what to do next with their “crusade”. This was the last update on Sunday 17th May, 2015. I guess live could be next, as they took PSN down.
