Lloyds Bank problems? Down or maintenance

Lloyds Bank has a great online banking service, but sometimes their service can go down when you least expect. Here you can check the latest Lloyds Bank service status and determine if Lloyds Bank is not working for online banking today.

It’s obviously a very serious issue when customers cannot log in to Lloyds Bank to handle important transactions that needs to be sorted on a daily basis. As far as we’re aware there’s no Lloyds Bank service status checker either, other than the official Twitter page for users to check whenever the service has an outage or is undergoing maintenance.

One specific problem that users have been having issues with is a Lloyds Bank system error ‘1400004’ which gives you the message – “We’re sorry but Internet Banking is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” Please let us know if you are seeing the same error in our discussion section.

    Yes it’s a major headache. I try to log on only to get a message that my log in details are incorrect when they are not. When I finally pass this hurdle I get a 4 digit code and receive an automatied phone call asking me to enter the code, once I enter the code I am told the code is incorrect which it is not.

    I have been having these issues since early December 2020.

    Lloyds bank app on my android phone producing some random logon issues. ” Sorry, we can’t show some of the account information…” and “You are not connected to the internet” tried several times over the last ten minutes. When I can get in and move between tabs for previous months it shows information but then tells me i’m not connected to the internet when trying to look at info for current month!!

    I logged into my Lloyds account with Chrome early this morning but a few hours later I get this message:
    “This site can’t provide a secure connection. Windows could not automatically detect this network’s proxy settings”

    I tried to log in with Explorder and could but when I went back to log in again I couldn’t and I got this message:
    “Can’t connect securely to this page. This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings.”

    I have cleared history, turned the router off and on, rebooted etc but I can’t access my account.

    My broadband provider EE say it’s not their end as do Lloyds so I don’t know where to go to rectify this.

    I live in France and have been using Lloyds Bank Internet Banking for 8 years. I was trying to transfer money and was locked out and received error codes. On investigation it is a Lloyds Bank error not my ISP as they inferred. On the 25 October 2017 at 21.00 CET approximately it all changed and after spending time on 2 telephone calls lasting over an hour in total Lloyds IT resolved nothing apart from being unhelpful, rude and aggressive. On the morning of 26 October 2017 the problem persists. Maybe time to change banks as Lloyds aren’t interest anymore.

    Been trying to apply for the latest Credit Card deal. After entering first 2 of 5 sections the app freezes when clicking continue from section 2 and doesn’t reach section 3. Support just said try a different machine / tablet / phone and if it doesn’t work after trying twice you cannot try again and will have to apply over the phone which is a shorter 0% period and higher balance transfer rate. Tried a different machine. Locked at the same place again. Great Support Team!
