Dodge Challenger Hellcat 2015 price and convertible desired

A few days ago we looked at how the 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat could have a rival from Ford thanks to a spy video, although this has yet to be confirmed. The Hellcat is a supercharged version of the popular Challenger muscle car and if those performance figures are anything to go by, rivals had better watch out.

The Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT engine specs are a 6.2-liter HEMI block that pushes out an awesome 600 horsepower, making it Chrysler’s most powerful V8 to date.

However, it’s not all about power because the vehicle needs to be able to handle all that power, although we have yet to learn all those important technical features. With production due to start in Q3 of this year, we don’t expect Chrysler will keep us waiting too long for this information.

While we do not know the exact Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT price, rumors seem to suggest we could expect to pay between mid $60,00 to low $70,000. This would put it at a disadvantage with the 2015 Ford Mustang, as all of the models so far will cost far less than that, although we have to wonder how much a possible SVO version would cost?

It is clear that fans would love to know the price of the new Hellcat SRT, although they would also like confirmation as to whether there are plans for a Dodge Challenger convertible. There has never been a convertible model before, but there seems to be a renewed interest.
