Die Rise zombies gameplay involves Dragon Boss fight

We are just hours away from the release of Die Rise, the next zombie map that will be included with the Revolution DLC Map Pack for Black Ops 2. Earlier this week we gave you some initial information on what to expect from the new map, but now we have some much more exciting details for you. A new boss is coming to Die Rise and it could come in the form of a dragon that players have to take down to unlock a new achievement.

As most of you are well aware, Die Rise is set for release on Tuesday, but at the moment there doesn’t appear to be a set release time for the content. Xbox 360 players with a Season Pass will get the content first as always, until Treyarch releases the content on PS3 and PC a month later.

There is naturally a lot of anticipation for Die Rise, particularly since Treyarch has once again mixed things up by adding a sense of verticality to the map. Players are this time going to be starting off on the top of a building and have to make their way downwards, whilst holding off zombies at the same time.

The list of 10 Die Rise achievements have leaked and it reveals that players will face a dragon at some stage. The achievement actually requires players to ‘face the dragon head-on’ before the start of round 2, so it looks like you’ll encounter the beast very early on – no word on if there will be any perks on offer aside from the achievement.

There’s also another achievement that requires players to use the pack a punch machine and collect all perks in the game at once, so that should be fairly easily for the hardcore players to obtain. So far, we haven’t had a full reveal on what the Easter Egg entails yet, but it’s fair to say that we’ll be finding out within the next 24 hours. Stay tuned for further information on that.
