Diablo 3 for Nintendo Switch revealed with exclusive content

It looks like a huge announcement has slipped out ahead of schedule with Diablo 3 confirmed for Nintendo Switch with the release of Diablo 3 Eternal Collection.

The collection is already available on PS4 and Xbox One and is known as the Ultimate Evil Edition, but now after a long wait it is finally coming to Nintendo Switch.

The Eternal Collection will bring the game packaged with the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions, as well as all of the other content released so far for the title.

As a special treat for Switch owners though and to probably reward their extreme patience, Blizzard is also offering some Nintendo exclusive content from the Zelda series and this will include a Ganondorf cosmetic armor set, Chicken pet, Echoes of the Mask cosmetic wings and a Tri-Force portrait frame.

Information revealed by Forbes before it was deleted also reveals that the Switch version will offer 4 player support on one Switch console, 4 players on 4 different Switch consoles wirelessly and Online support when Switch Online goes live in September.

The price for the Eternal Collection will be $59.99 so let us know your reaction to this if you have a Switch console and have been waiting for Diablo to arrive.
