Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls fans will have to make the most out the auction house for the next week or so, as it will cease to exist soon. While the Diablo 3 patch will continue to keep running for now, Blizzard will be taking apart the auction house themselves.
The auction house for Diablo 3 will be taken down on Tuesday 18th March, and this has been explained by the firm in a recent Diablo 3 trailer, in which they highlight how both looting and killing demons is better off without it.
Up until the final date players will be able to make the most of the latest Diablo 3 patch and experience the fix to the loot exchange system, although it is currently only available in the US. Patch 2.0.2 is expected to drop on the 25th March everywhere else, but it is not a large as its predecessor.
The news of the loss of the auction house is documented on PCGamesN along with details of the patch, which is said to totally transform the game. Below this post we have embedded a 2 minute trailer from Blizzard that highlights the latest update as both the real money house and auction house will be closed a week on Tuesday

This gave PC gamers the opportunity to check out the first expansion pack releasing this month and questions have been asked about rumours on the arrival of Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition for PlayStation 4.
