Destiny Xur with Exotic Shards for 23 hours

Yesterday, we revealed where Xur is in Destiny and the same location where you will find the Agent of the Nine on December 6. Today, we want to focus more on one item being sold right now by Destiny’s Xur, which some of Product Reviews readers might not notice, as it will help you upgrade weapons rather than taking them apart.

Since the latest 1.1 patch, you will need Exotic Shards and you can purchase this from Destiny Xur for 23 hours more that fits with the regular schedule and times. In a nutshell, this is an end time of 9am UK on Sunday, December 7. The Exotic Shards are now vital if you want to upgrade weapons within the game, as such it’s great seeing this item for sale and welcomed by those with plenty of Strange Coin.

Helping you today in Destinythis article is for those of you still wondering where Xur is in Destiny on Dec 6, see this page to understand more about Exotic Shards and how to get them in Destiny after Xur goes missing from Sunday.

Needing an Exotic Shard changes a lot within the game and of course gets it ready for the first DLC expansion. You can upgrade weapons immediately by dismantling exotics, but what if you want to keep these weapons? If you have plenty of strange coin, then this is where Xur comes in handy by selling them for another 23 hours at the time of writing for 7 strange coin each.

You can see a video below detailing the price of Exotic Shards from Xur in Destiny this weekend. You will need to jump to 4 minutes and 40 seconds, although this also includes some debate in regard to why they made this change and detailing how this update is changing things.

Would you rather buy Exotic Shards from Destiny’s Xur or dismantle weapons? Also, what’s your thoughts on the 7 strange coin price for an Exotic Shard? Some people feel it is a high price to pay considering the amount of strange coins they have, although others would rather spend strange coin than take apart their Exotic weapons.
