Along with all of the new content that the House of Wolves Destiny expansion will bring, Bungie has just unveiled their other surprise too – Prison of Elders.
Prison of Elders is going to be a three-player arena mode that is exclusive to the upcoming expansion which arrives on May 19.
This expansion is going to allow players to team-up to take on hordes of enemies which increase in difficulty the further you get.
There will be some luxurious prizes on offer to the teams that manage to get far, while Bungie also says that players can match-make with other players easily if you don’t already have your own Fireteam set up yet.
It looks fantastic and now we have the first solid Destiny Prison of Elders gameplay for you to enjoy – a full 7 minutes of it.
This is basically Bungie’s answer to a Destiny Horde mode and we have a feeling that it is going to inject a new lease of life into the game and keep players coming back for more every day.
Unlike traditional horde modes though, you’ll be completing objectives as you go along in the Prison of Elders and they get more difficult as time progresses.
Check it out below and give us your reaction to the new mode. Are you impressed or not?
