Have you been having problems with the Destiny servers down today on December 7? The likely explanation for this is not due to Bungie, but a PSN DDOS attack on the whole. However, Bungie has given players an official update on the situation by saying that they are now actively investigating.
It’s not the first time that the Destiny servers have gone offline. This time though, it appears to be at no fault of Bungie. We told you here about a PSN login hack that has just taken place and it appears to have caused a knock on effect regarding Destiny.
Fortunately, Bungie are already aware of the situation and are trying to fix up the problems as we speak. We noticed this bulletin update when browsing the Destiny forums just minutes ago.
As far as we’re aware, the Destiny login problems are just affecting PS4 and PS3 platforms, so those who have an Xbox copy need not worry – although just as well since Destiny Xbox players are already recovering from a recent hack of their own.
Let us know if you can login to Destiny once again on PlayStation. If LizardSquad are to blame again, what is your message to them? Surely this can’t happen every single weekend – can it?
