Destiny PC release date hopes reignite

Destiny may have launched as a console only game but this week we are again hearing rumors that Bungie may still have plans to offer up a Destiny for PC release date in the near future.

It’s been discovered that the developer are actively looking for a PC compatibility tester, with the description providing some possible clues on a potential port to PC.

Those applying for the role need to “evaluate PC hardware-specific features”, as well as ensuring that various systems work together across “multiple PC configurations” for a good user experience.

Obviously we could be clutching at straws here in case Bungie has another secret PC project on the go. However with Destiny 2 on the horizon, we wouldn’t count it out that a port of the original may be made available if a new game in the series launches alongside console versions.

PC owners have been dreaming of this likelihood for months, so we hope it happens as we can imagine the fun opening up Destiny to PC players worldwide on a global scale.

What are your thoughts on the compatibility tester job hunt, do you think it has anything to do with Destiny coming to PC or not?
