Destiny Crux of Crota location for Eidolon Ally upgrade

Hours ago, we told you that the Husk of the Pit was finally dropping in normal versions of Destiny. This is after we were one of the first to tell you that it was currently bugged and only dropping in demo versions of Destiny.

Now, it’s available and many players have already upgraded the Husk of the Pit to the Eidolon Ally. Naturally, many of you are now asking how to get the Crux of Crota in Destiny as this is the rare item needed to upgrade the Eidolon Ally to the mighty Necrochasm.

The important thing that you need to know though, is that the Destiny Crux of Crota location isn’t available yet. We’ve seen so many questions asked from hungry players on where is the Crux of Crota in Destiny, but the truth is Bungie hasn’t unlocked it yet.

You’ll be able to get the Crux of Crota from the Crota’s End Raid, but on Hard mode difficulty which hasn’t been released yet. As far as we’re aware, this is planned for a January 2015 release, but Bungie hasn’t given full details on this yet.

There has been some concerns on why Hard mode for Crota’s End Raid isn’t available considering many have paid $20 for access. In our opinion though, it’s a good move. It helps to stretch out the replayability of the existing content and once you are done unlocking everything – you’ll be able to go for the Necrochasm as the icing on the cake.

We just wanted to set the record straight on this as currently there is no way to get the Crux of Crota in Destiny, until Bungie releases Hard mode for Crota’s End.

Are you fully prepared to take on this Raid next month? In the meantime, good luck hunting the Husk of the Pit and upgrading it to Eidolon’s Ally.
