We have a quick heads-up to all Destiny 2 players now, as Bungie has sent out warning that the Destiny 2 servers will be down on January 3, 2018 for scheduled server maintenance and the rollout of Destiny 2 update 1.1.1.2 on PS4 and Xbox One.
While it is good news that Bungie will be tweaking more areas of the game with the 1.1.1.2 hotfix, it is bad news when you find out that the maintenance times will last a full five hours.
Here is the important information to make a note of if you are planning on playing the game today. Servers will be down in the UK from 3PM and won’t be back up until 8PM.
For those in the US this means maintenance starting at 7am Pacific Time and ending at 12pm Pacific Time – players on Eastern Time this will be from 10am to 3PM.
We will update this article with the Destiny 2 1.1.1.2 patch notes as soon as Bungie release them, so check back for that soon – they will appear at this link so you can check this too.
