Since Destiny 2 launched, players have been running into numerous problems involving Destiny 2 error codes on PS4 and Xbox One. It was an ongoing problem with Destiny 1 and it looks like Bungie hasn’t fully solved it in time for the new launch either.
We know that there are two frequent error codes in Destiny 2 that players are seeing the most and you can use this page to check to see if there are any fixes for them officially from Bungie or fixes that other Destiny 2 players have discovered themselves.
The first Destiny 2 error code is MONGOOSE that has been seen on PS4 and Xbox One. This is related to matchmaking problems with the game and usually results in players having to wait over 10 minutes on the loading screen in some cases.
We are actively investigating player reports of long matchmaking times on Xbox One, sometimes resulting in MONGOOSE errors.

The fix has to be from Bungie’s end and you can see above that whenever it does happen, they are aware about it and working on getting it sorted as soon as possible.
The other major Destiny 2 error code is CABBAGE on PS4 and Xbox One. This one is happening a lot, especially when players are trying to sign into Destiny 2 on the main screen but are unable to and get this message in return.
We are actively investigating player reports of CABBAGE error codes. Please stay tuned for updates: https://t.co/LRiJ77F6Ju

Bungie hasn’t issued a specific fix for this one either, but we have a feeling that it is linked to the amount of players logging in at once during launch week and Bungie’s servers simply can’t cope.
Have you had both of these error codes too or seen any new ones that we don’t know about? Let us know if you have fixed them via other ways as a heads up to other players.
