Destiny 1.02 patch on PS4, Xbox One aftermath

We told you that the Destiny 1.02 patch release date was coming soon, and now we are pleased to see that the new Destiny update has gone live on PS4 and Xbox One platforms.

As expected, there are some very notable changes to the game with specific focus on how Engrams are earned and claimed, which players and Bungie have been keen to address.

In our initial report on the incoming patch, we gave you a general heads-up on what the Destiny patch notes would contain. However, looking on Bungie’s website we can see that there’s some additional information to look through – notably a key change with regards to a reduced time limit on Bastion and First Light in Control and Clash.

Bungie has also informed players that there is one outstanding known issue with the new update, with this involving selecting a higher difficulty for daily missions, but XP Bonus not showing in the reward display.

Be sure to check out the full Destiny 1.02 patch notes over at Bungie’s website here. It should now be live on all platforms of the game, so let us know how your experience is in the initial aftermath since going live.

Is Destiny multiplayer better for you, or worse after the update?
