Desktop Defender: Best Facebook Game Yet?

Over the last few years there have been a lot of popular Facebook games, people have been managing their virtual farms on Farmville, bluffing on Poker, matching gems on be Bejeweled Blitz and being part of a mob in Mafia Wars, however I recently became quite addicted to one game called Desktop Defender.

For those of you who have been playing Flash games on sites like you will have played tower defense games, Desktop Defender is a tower defense game and is made by the developer responsible for the Desktop Tower Defense games, all of which can be played here.

The idea is simple, stop waves of creeps getting to their goal using a range of different towers, you can create paths and upgade your towers, however there are different creeps which have different strengths and weaknesses.

There is a social element which allows you to send friends gifts and upgrades, also there is a leaderboard which allows you to taunt your friends if you score is better than theirs. As you play you earn gold which can be used to buy upgrades, also there are different difficulty settings which allow you to gain a higher score on particular levels.

All in all Desktop Defender is an addictive and challenging game, please do not play this if you do not want to spend hours playing the game, if you don’t mind getting addicted to yet another Facebook game check out this link.

Have you played Desktop Defender? if so, is it your favorite Facebook game yet?
