Deported Russian Spy Worked at Microsoft

You may have recently heard about the Russian spies who were working as undercover agents in the U.S., well we are now hearing that one of the spies worked at Microsoft.

According to the Washington Post one of the spies – Alexey Karetnikov was living in or around Seattle and had worked for Microsoft for nine months as a software tester.

Karetnikov was apparently in the early stages of whatever it was he was trying to uncover, never-the-less he has now been deported, the FBI are pretty sure that he didn’t manage to gather any sensitive information.

The U.S. law enforcement authorities seem confident that this should be the end of this saga, one official said “I don’t think there will be a 13th or a 14th arrest here.”
