Dell Inspiron 7559 4K laptop review for gaming and editing

If you are into your gaming and are looking for a laptop that will not break the bank, then you might want to consider the Dell Inspiron 7559 laptop.

The good thing is, this model is already for sale at a reduced price, and one retailer that will be selling it is Walmart, although you might want to hurry, as we know stock will run low very quickly.

As for the specs, these include the Intel i7-6700HQ 3.5GHz, 6MB Cache, with 16GB memory, 128GB solid state drive and 1TB hard drive, so you have more than enough storage. Then this is where things get more interesting, as you have the 15.6-inch 4K Ultra HD Truelife LED-backlit touchscreen, along with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M Graphics and 4GB of dedicated memory, which is what makes this an ideal laptop for gaming – or this what Dell says.

Having said that, reading over the specifications this is more than enough to play some graphic intensive games, although reading through some of the reviews on the Walmart product page, it’s also ideal for editing DJI Phantom and GoPro footage, with the touchscreen making things that much easier.

Looking over some of the additional features, there’s also a webcam, 2-in-1 card reader, bluetooth, along with a selection of connections like 3 USB 3.0 ports, 1 x HDMI port, and Ethernet and a headphone/microphone jack and 1 x DC-in. The battery is a 6-cell lithium ion, although no details are given as to how long this will last.

Going back to those reviews, and Dell Inspiron 7559 4K laptop owners have given it 3.6 out of 5 stars, which does not seem overly impressive. However, we would say that you should not be put off by the negative comments, because those were only based on faulty models, Those that did not have a problem were very pleased with the performance because it’s such a powerhouse.

Do you have this laptop, if so what are your thoughts?
