Deadpool movie footage ignites game hopes

After years of speculation after the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie involving Deadpool and his future, it looks like there are definitely plans for the Merc in the Mouth to hit the big screen. We’ve just seen the Deadpool movie test footage that had leaked and it made us think how this should be translated into a new game.

We all know that Activision and High Moon Studios released a Deadpool game last year, but after mixed-reviews it’s about time that we saw another game and one that would be developed with next-gen PS4 and Xbox One consoles in mind.

There is heavy speculation that the Deadpool test footage that is in circulation at the moment is in fact real, especially given the fact that it contains the voice of Ryan Reynolds – the same actor who played Deadpool in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie.

We’ve added the video below which is almost 2 minutes in length but don’t be surprised if it is removed shortly. We have seen alternate links of the same clip removed by FOX, which is another indication that this clip has been unveiled prematurely.

Either way, it shows the humorous side of Deadpool that we all love from the comics and we would love any new movie to translate into a new Deadpool game on PS4 and Xbox One. We would even love to see Nolan North back for a sequel if he is willing, as he did a great job handling the voice.

Do you agree that it is time for another Deadpool game? Watch the leaked Deadpool trailer below and let us know any ideas you have for a new game.
