Deadliest Warrior: Legends – New trailer / game details revealed

If you are a fan of Spike Games’ original Deadliest Warrior: The game (based on the Spike TV series of the same name), then you’re most likely looking forward to the arrival of its sequel Deadliest Warrior: Legends, which is due to arrive on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this summer.

However, some of you may be wondering what exactly the sequel offers that its predecessor didn’t, and whether or not it will live up to the gory reputation of the original. Well according to Riley Little over at gamerant.com, the Deadliest Warrior: Legends game features many new and exciting features.

As you can maybe tell by the title, the Deadliest Warrior: Legends game features some of the legendary warriors that have battled it out on the actual TV show. Players will now be able to watch famous warriors such as Shaka Zulu, Alexander the Great and William Wallace battle it out with each other.

The Deadliest Warrior: Legends game has received a number of notable improvements including a graphics upgrade, and a considerable increase to the gore (just in case the gore in the first game wasn’t enough for you). In fact, gamers will now have the ability to cut their opponents in half.

Levels have also received an upgrade and now come with hazards such as pits, which players can unfortunately be pushed in to. The game has also been given a new ‘Generals’ mode, where players begin with a territory on the in-game map. Players must then start taking over the different areas of the map.
