Dead Rising 3 co-op freedom on Xbox One

Not another survival horror game we hear you ask, although another sequel in the Dead Rising series must mean fans of this genre are ready for more. The Xbox One exclusive is expected to release on the 22nd November this year as a launch title for the new console, so we are intrigued to know if this is one of those exclusive games that could help overall sales of Microsoft’s new console.

Dead Rising 3 is said to have more co-op freedom on Xbox One, and the latest demo seen at Tokyo Game Show lets us see that a fixed frame rate has also been focused on. In an article on Polygon they discuss the initial in-game demo from August, and remark on the improvements made to the frame rate issues within Dead Rising 3.

As they document the difference a month makes as far as improvements are concerned, the also mention comments by producer Mike Jones, as he promises the studio and Microsoft will be working together in a bid to resolve any issues with this situation.

Now the frame rate is up to 30 fps many potential customers will be contemplating Dead Rising 3 as their introduction to the Xbox One with a brand new next-gen zombie game. So do you feel this will be one of your first Xbox One titles, or have set aside another exclusive game that you want to get before Dead Rising 3?
