Dead Island: E3 2011 trailer and release date unveiled

We’ve already seen the captivating debut trailer, the almost 12-minute gameplay trailer and the eye-catching box art for the much-anticipated Dead Island game, and now you’ll be pleased to know that the E3 2011 trailer and the game’s release date have just been unveiled.

As Raine Hutchens over on the website recently reported, the newly released E3 2011 trailer — which places viewers in the shoes of a guy who really enjoys his partying – appears to be a bit more structured than the ones that we’ve seen previously.

After blacking out due to the amount of drink he’s consumed, the character wakes up in his hotel room to discover that the place is really quiet — too quiet in fact!! Much to his surprise, the island has been taken over by the undead and his vacation has now turned into a fight for survival.

As for the release date, the Dead Island game is due to arrive in North American stores on September 6th and in stores everywhere else on September 9th. The game will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. We have embedded the new trailer below this post.

I don’t know about you guys, but the Dead Island game is definitely going on my must have games list. Will you be buying the Dead Island game?
