David Villa to New York City FC fuels FIFA 15 dream

Today is a massive day for fans of football in America. The upcoming team New York City FC, sister club of Premier League champions Manchester City have just made their first player signing, none other than Spain’s David Villa.

This is the same player that has just won La Liga with Athletico Madrid, but is leaving the club to start a ground-breaking new adventure with New York City FC.

The newly-formed club will compete in the MLS next season and now there is a big chance that EA will include them on the FIFA 15 team roster as part of the MLS league.

David Villa is the first player to sign up and there are big reports suggesting that Frank Lampard could be the next player to be revealed. It could be a very exciting Summer indeed after the World Cup, finding out the remaining New York City FC squad as obviously they will need a full team plus substitutes before EA makes the decision.

We expect it to happen though and it is going to be very exciting for FIFA fans who enjoy playing through career mode with MLS-based teams.

Give us your reaction to the fact that David Villa has signed up as the first ever player for the club. What FIFA 15 rating do you think David Villa will have next season for the club?
