We have some good news for Dark Souls 3 players now. A new Dark Souls 3 1.04 update on PS4 and Xbox One is going live on April 18 and we can bring you the patch notes in advance.
Namco Bandai has sent out the information for everyone, with the Dark Souls 3 update today going live at slightly unusual times in the evening, or early UK time the following morning.
This is obviously to accommodate Japanese players, but either way here is what is new in Dark Souls 3 1.04 on PS4 and Xbox One – also PC which will be known as the Dark Souls 3 1.03.1 patch:
As you can see, one of the main reasons for the update is a performance adjustment for Greatswords which should make some of you happy. There’s also a specific fix mentioned in relation to when multiple items become impossible to use at “Road of Sacrifices,” “Farron Keep” and “Cathedral of the Deep” so again this is good work by the team.
Make sure you are aware of when the Dark Souls 3 update times are, as highlighted above. UK times are not mentioned but these should be 3am on Tuesday for PS4, between 1am and 4am for Xbox One and 10am Tuesday morning for PC users.
Let us know your thoughts on the changes above and if you spot anything new which Namco hasn’t mentioned.
