Damson Jet twin mini speaker arrives

Damson Audio has unveiled their new Damson Jet twin mini speaker which delivers stereo sound through a Bluetooth connection, and sold as a two-speaker set the company are using the true stereo sound as their selling point. With no wires or plug-in connections that link them together this is ideal for use with devices such as smartphones, tablets and PCs.

According to reports the left and right channels are separated by which ever device you are using in order to send information to the individual speaker outputs. In an informative article on Pocket-lint they discuss how the two Jet speakers are required to communicate with each other ensuring in-sync stereo audio no matter how far they are apart, although the constraints of Bluetooth give us the impression 10 metres would be taking this product to its limits.

The lithium-ion battery contained within the near-cylindrical speakers is said to deliver 4-hours of audio, and once this has been drained the Damson Jet twin can be recharged using a USB connection, while those requiring a wired connection can use each Jet speaker individually, thus resulting in more than double the amount of battery life with Bluetooth switched off.

At only 75mm tall these attractive speakers can deliver frequencies down to 200Hz, and arriving this month the Damson Jet is available for £150 in a variety of colours which includes a limited edition “burnt orange“.
