Cyber Monday UK sales predictions at Currys, PC World

Now that we are in December and with the busy shopping season now in full swing, consumers will be hoping for some great deals tomorrow because of it being Cyber Monday. This is an event that takes place in the US and the UK. We thought we would inform our readers about the Cyber Monday UK sales predictions for Currys and PC World because these stores are gearing up for what is expected to be very prosperous for them.

Cyber Monday in the UK for Currys and PC World is expected to bring huge sales, with a huge focus being on tablets because this is such a growing market. However, we do know that other electrical items will do very well in sales, such as TVs and laptops.

It’s not really the time of the year to be thinking so much about household appliances, and so this is the reason why Currys and PC World expect to sell 1 million tablets this Christmas.

We also expect to see Cyber Monday deals on the PS3 and Xbox 360, as these stores know there will still be a huge demand, even though the PS4 and Xbox One has now been released. A huge percentage of consumers are not prepared to pay such a high price for these new consoles, as well as the silly prices for games to go with them.

Cyber Monday will be the start of the busiest shopping week of the year, as most retailers will say this is the last time they can guarantee a delivery before Christmas on certain items. The Dixons Group expects more than a million visits to its Currys and PC World website on Cyber Monday, where consumers look for deals on a range of TVs from the likes of LG, Sony, Samsung, Toshiba and Panasonic.

However, like we said above, it is the various types of Android tablets that will see the most interest, although don’t expect the new Nexus 10 2, as it looks like this is a no go for 2013.
