Cyanogen Mod 6: Froyo Update for Droid Incredible, EVO 4G and More

We have some great news for those of you familiar with Cyanogen Mod, as we can confirm that version 6.0 is now available to download. It is pretty significant, as the creators are calling it the first ‘stable’ build for Android 2.2 Froyo.

As reported from Engadget, you can now download CyanogenMod 6 by heading to their official website. Supported handsets include many popular handsets available on the market now, some of which include the Motorola Droid, HTC EVO 4G, Samsung Galaxy S and Nexus One.

You’ll also be pleased to know that the HTC Droid Incredible is supported by CyanogenMod, meaning that those of you who are still waiting for the official OTA update from Verizon, can give this method a try if you know what you are doing.
