Curved iMac desired following LG 29V950 all-in-one release

With the upcoming release of the LG 29V950, which is its first curved all-in-one PC, this has now seen a fresh desire for a curved iMac. While some of you will feel as though TVs of this kind is a fad and will slowly fade away, they were big news during CES, and with LG bringing it to the all-in-one PC, it does make you wonder if Apple will follow suit?

Ok, so we know that Apple does not always do something just because it is popular, but it is doing so with its Apple Watch to take advantage of the popularity of wearables.

We have already seen Samsung announce its curved all-in-one PC as well, and so people have started to wonder of Apple actually has any plans to do the same with its iMac. The thing is, this is just the start of such curved devices, and so we expect to see many more models released throughout 2015.

LG 29V950 all-in-one release

I am still not convinced if a curved TV is the future, as it is more for someone watching a good movie on their own, something we hardly do. However, we do sit on out own in front of a computer screen, and so giving the user a more immersive experience seems right for such a product.

The current LG and Samsung curved computers are not pleasing on the eye and are too plastic for my liking, and this is why it would be interesting to see how a curved iMac or monitor would look. Just think what this would look like with its 5K resolution?

Do you think there is a chance that Apple will embrace the curved revolution?
