So you have spent £700 on your new iPhone 7 128GB version, and one of the first things you do is stick it inside a protective case. The issue we have with this is that it hides the sleek, beautiful design of the new handset, and also adds extra bulk as well – something that Apple has tried to keep to a minimum.
It’s for this reason why we often like to have a very slim case on our phone, as this way you get to admire the beauty of the phone inside its case. However, there is a trade off, and that is only offering the smallest of protection, such as scratches, and that’s about it.
We were sent a Crystal C1 iPhone 7 case to review, which is 100 per cent clear, and comes with the Mobile Fun logo. This has to be the sleekest case we have had on a phone, and is made from a transparent gel. What we do like is the fact that it offers a good amount of grip, something that you do not get from far more expensive cases.
There’s not really too much we can tell you about the Crystal C1 iPhone 7 case, as everything about it is out in the open for you to see. The material it’s made from is surprisingly durable, and is said to be long-lasting, although we do fear if removed and put back on too many times, the case might start to sag.
So why would you buy this case? Well, it does not add any weight or bulk, and allows you to admire the design of your iPhone 7. If for some reason you do not wish to pay the price of £9.99 for this case, then there is a way of getting it for free.
Ok, so there is a small catch, one that is not too much of an issue really and that is to sign-up to the Mobile Fin newsletter. If you are still not convinced because you do not wish to receive news updates, along with the hottest deals, then Mobile Fun does try to make this free giveaway even more tempting, and that’s the fact it is part of their case for life. This means each time you upgrade to a new phone you will be given one of these clear cases to fit it. Not only that, there is also a £5 off voucher included when you spend £10 or more, although it does expire 30 days after you register it.
