Cruise Lingo iOS, Android app by Celebrity Cruises

When it comes to going on that cruise of a lifetime it is worth being equipped for journey with something to translate those foreign languages and lingo that could be hard to understand on your next stop off. This is where the Cruise Lingo application could be a decent companion for those of us who can only speak English and require a quick translation to assist them.

The Cruise Lingo application by Celebrity Cruises Inc. is available as a free Android app on Google Play and this will help cruisers enjoy their holiday safe in the knowledge they have a valuable companion that will assist when it comes to learning the local lingo at your next destination.

With plenty of essential foreign phrases users can impress locals navigating their surroundings at ease with everything from popular phrases to slang and humorous sayings. In this free version there are over 40 useful phrases in multiple languages including specific lingo ideal for cruises.

The iOS app is also free from the iTunes App Store and includes over 1000 phrases in 11 languages as well as slang, along with a voice translator, a 10,000 word offline dictionary and 2000 high quality audio files for help with the pronunciation. In addition, built-in flashcards and a culture crash course are also available.

Those of you who love cruises may find that certain stop offs don’t always come with a tour guide or one that speaks your language, but with helpful apps users can have their own independence without having to rely on a translator.
