Crackdown 3 gameplay rumored within hours

We have some exciting rumors to share with Xbox owners now, as it looks like we may finally see some Crackdown 3 news. There are whispers emerging just hours before the Microsoft E3 2014 event suggesting that a Crackdown 3 announcement is coming.

You won’t need us to remind you that Crackdown 3 has almost been rumored to death to the point where Xbox 360 and now Xbox One owners wondered if it would ever come out.

Crackdown 2 developer Ruffian Games have been very silent in terms of new projects that are on the way and fans have been getting impatient on the lack of news regarding a Crackdown 3 release date on Xbox One.

Now, anonymous sources over at Develop are treating it as fact that Microsoft will show Crackdown 3 during the Xbox E3 2014 live event, which you can watch here. There’s no word on who is developing it, but it would be great to see the game either way – hopefully running at 1080p and 60FPS too, to really silence a few doubters.

It may also be a look away moment for PlayStation owners too, as we could be seeing Crackdown 3 as an Xbox One exclusive, since the series has traditionally been only on Xbox.

What will your reaction be if you see Crackdown 3 live on stage later on? Would this be a day-one instant buy for you no matter what?
