This clever application was recently released to the App Store and features 485 different recipes from a variety of areas. Each recipe has step-by-step instructions and is easily created in your kitchen thanks to these. There are over 3,500 high resolution photos that are used when each stage is reached to make the recipes even easier to master.

All of the recipes have been put into categories to make it easier to find preparation instructions for items such as meat dishes, seafood, cakes, beverages, soups, and much more. There are also many sushi, sashimi, pies, and appetizer recipes included in the application.

When a user opens a recipe they are provided with an image of the finished dish as well as the amount of calories per person and the time required for preparation. Users are provided with a full list of ingredients, and quantity details are easily added to the shopping basket.

When you go shopping for the ingredients users can easily check off each item with a simple tap of their finger. Shopping lists can even be sent via SMS or email, and an assistant can be used to select suitable recipes. The app also contains a timer that can be used as a countdown for the time required for a dish to remain in the oven or to simmer.

There is a favorite feature that allows users to save a list of all their favorite recipes, and a feature also allows recipes to be put onto users Facebook accounts. All the contents can be used offline so no internet connection is required, and users who have already downloaded the app have given it favorable reviews.

Recipes Genius is available worldwide on the App Store for the special introductory price of $0.99/£0.69, which is a discount of 80%. Requires iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad with iOS 4.0 or later.
