Consumer Electronics Show Las Vegas 2010 Roundup

Yesterday saw the start of the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show 2009 in Las Vegas, a host of companies were on hand to begin showing off what they have planned for the next 12 months. These companies have been working hard to insure that they offer us the latest in technology, with some standing out more than others.

CES 2010 is not be about one device like last year with the Palm Pre, instead a host of new gadgets will be the trend, such as 3DTV, Tablet PCs and more. We have already seen that 2010 will see more devices connecting to the Internet this year, such as further advancements to the Ford Sync system, allowing for connections to Twitter.

A host of new Blu-ray players will offer Netflix streaming, which we covered in a recent post. Dell has launched the world’s smallest gaming laptop, the Alienware M11; we have more details of this here. Dell also announced the launch of their 5-inch Android Tablet, which you can read more on here.

We had hoped to see the Microsoft Courier, but the software giant decided to put its might behind a HP tablet PC instead. None of that will matter if Apple announces the launch of their tablet device later this month.
