Compare your cars comfort level with iCar Comfort for iPhone

You may be driving along in your vehicle and you see a nice looking car pull alongside you at the stop light, and you wonder if it’s as comfortable as what you are driving. Now you can easily compare your cars comfort level with iCar Comfort for iPhone.

The application is brought to you by Morning Dew Apps, and is the first application of its kind available on the App Store. Users can measure a comfort reading for any vehicle including public transport, with results displayed in a graph and a report.

You may spot a Lexus in another lane and although it may cost more money than the car you are driving, it doesn’t always mean your car is not as comfortable. The app contains a specially calibrated tool, which has been thoroughly tested before release.

Users just open the app and lay their mobile device on a level surface, and let the app analyze the ride of your car. It uses an accelerometer sensor that takes a vibration measurement of your car, and after a period of time it provides users the results.

Results are provided in visual and text form with users finding out if their ride is luxurious, comfortable, normal, and bumpy. It doesn’t matter what type of vehicle you drive as the app will measure all of them. There is also a special bonus where users can start and then rev a sports car before turning it off.

iCar Comfort 1.0.1 is available worldwide for only $0.99/£0.69 on the App Store. iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch required with iOS 3.0 or later.
