ColorWare 24k Gold PS4 DualShock 4 controller joins XB1

The new ColorWare 24k Gold PS4 DualShock 4 controller for 2015 can be seen within the photos below, which also showcase 1 of 25 on this particular controller. ColorWare is known for their quality finishes and custom configuration that is showcased once again with this limited edition 24k Gold plated controller.

Sony’s DualShock 4 looks even better in 24k and comes with improved trigger buttons and dual analog sticks for another level in control. The $299 24k DualShock 4 currently ships in 3-4 weeks and arrives in the original packaging along with the ColorWare warranty.

You can see a close up with the revamped Sony DualShock 4 controller below, after ColorWare coats it in 24k Gold, delivers a glossy finish, and makes control improvements.

ColorWare Xbox One controller in 24k Gold – next up, meet the Microsoft Xbox One version that goes through the same “complex process”. The ColorWare CEO called the Xbox One and PS4 24K Gold controllers, as something for “diehard gamers”. If you feel you fit into that category, would you pay around $300 for what you see on this page?

The Xbox One ColorWare Wireless controller is not only in the same 24k gold plate, but it also comes in original packaging, with the special warranty, and features the new wireless radio for faster data transfers.

In our opinion, the close ups for PS4 and Xbox One have a very different finish thanks to the way these controllers were finished in the first place. Take a look at all the pictures, and let us know the controller you prefer and try not to be bias?

If you really want to purchase one of these controllers, then make sure you understand how rare they are with only “25 of each style available“. You can see the ColorWare pages for the PS4 and Xbox One versions through the links. Before each product is customized, they are fully disassembled, cleaned, painted, and then given a final inspection before getting reassembled.
